Participate in the Summer Ulteo Community Actions!
Dear Ulteo community user,
As you know, Ulteo is an Open Source project which means that each Community contribution such as project needs, product feedback, translation, debugging, more platform testing, etc. is a benefit to both the product and all its users.
The launch of our Ulteo v2.5 has been a great success: good coverage, good feedback, more and more organizations and partners plan to adopt it.
Now we want to go further, and establish Ulteo as the leading Open Source virtual desktop and application delivery solution for the IT department by helping more organizations to adopt it.
You can play a role in that adventure by providing both translation of the Ulteo OVD and success stories/use cases around it.
1. More Ulteo translations:
Today thanks to great contributors and a well organized engineering infrastructure we have the Ulteo OVD available in English, Russian, French, Japanese, Spanish and Italian.
Let’s increase the number of languages! For example:
- German, Portuguese (standard and Brazilian), Greek, Dutch, Nordic
countries languages, and a couple of additional Eastern countries like
Polish, Hungarian, Croatian, etc. for now. - other desired/requested languages request from the community:
Arabic, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, etc.
But this list is no limited, you can suggest and translate to more languages!
If you want to contribute a language for Ulteo products or documentations, get in touch with us by email at: translations @ ulteo dot com
2. Ulteo OVD use cases/success stories:
As an Open Source company, we tend to minimize the marketing and sales pitch to focus on the product. But we get many requests for project references/stories for different types of organizations that would like to know that another organization like them are using Ulteo, and how.
For those who are using Ulteo OVD in a pilot project, proof of concept or in production please contact us, Gaël or Thierry, by email at: usecase @ ulteo dot com
Also we would appreciate “specific support references” if you are interacting or have interacted with our support team. Please share your support experience. Your reference can be personal, but ideally on behalf of your company.
We have been already working on our v3.0 that will include a couple of big changes that our community of users and partners have requested.
We will keep you aware regularly this special program summer about new Community Actions on Twitter http://twitter.com/Ulteo and Ulteo blog at http://blog.ulteo.com
Gaël & Thierry,
