06/30/2014Ulteo Open Virtual Desktop 4.0.2 Available

June 30th, 2014 -- Ulteo are pleased to announce the availability of an update to the version 4.0 release of Open Virtual Desktop. With the 4.0.2 release of OVD, Ulteo have added support for the SAML 2.0 protocol to provide user authentication between OVD and an external Identity Provider. The goal of this release is to support enterprises that use a central Identity Management system and to allow the secure integration of OVD into that environment to provide a Single Sign-On capability for the enterprise. The SAML authentication support is available in the Premium Edition. In addition the release includes stability and reliability improvements that have been reported in the 4.0 release. ... read more

May 16th, 2014 -- Ulteo are pleased to announce the availability of an update to the version 4.0 release of Open Virtual Desktop. With the 4.0.1 release of OVD, Ulteo have added support for editing documents using Asian languages as well as fixing several defects that had been reported since the release of 4.0. The Asian language support has been added to both the Community and Premium Editions of OVD. The goal of this release was to extend OVD into Asian markets where special handling is required to be able to input characters when editing documents and at the same time enhance the stability and reliability of the 4.0 platform. ... read more
